I LOVE COUPONS

This last month I have been collecting coupons because I have heard you can save a lot of money and get great deals (and because our tennants didn't cancel their paper for a few weeks after we moved in). My neighbor did a class that showed us how to organize and use all the coupons to get the best deals. I made my first trip today and I am SOLD on coupon shopping! I went to Smith's because they were having a big sale and I took my coupons. Aside from the one little glitch that I quickly fixed, it was super easy and I got 135 dollars of groceries for 29 BUCKS!!! In that purchase I got 8 bottles of Herbal Essence stuff (moouse, shampoo and conditioner) and each bottle cost me only 50 cents. Isn't that amazing! Here is a picture so you can appreciate how much I really got for $29.
P.S. I just got back from Walgreens where I got 10 candybars for FREE! This is seriously awesome! :)

Will you please come and teach me a thing or two. I've been wanting to learn how to do it and could really use the extra cash in my pocket. Gabriela takes dance at the Dance Club. It's on State Street in Orem just north of 800N. behind the Wendy's. You can look up their number in the phone book. The Fairy Tale Ballet will start a new session in about 3 weeks I'm guessing, but all the info is online too at thedanceclub.com. I would highly reccomend this place. Talk to ya soon. Maybe can talk coupons over icecream!

wow Caren, that's awesome! Do you get your coupons out of the paper? We don't get the paper, so I don't do much couponing, but I do try and shop the sales.
Those are cute frames you made with your sister! :) Despite my efforts to be humorous, I really did love having you on my team in VB! I am so glad that you come!!

Caren, found your blog. Another great way to stay in touch! I am so impressed with your coupon shopping. I wish I had made it to that class. I'm going to have to figure it out once we're in Boston!
PS: I'll send you an invite to our blog.

I just started clipping coupons too after a class we had in our ward. I was amazed at how much money people saved by using coupons. I'm just starting out, but I already saved quite a bit of money and it's also so much fun.
